One of the most important functions of an SMD stencil is the ability to deposit the solder paste with the least possible retention.
At Pantur we have spent many years studying the processes that improve the finish, both on the surface and inside the openings of the SMD stencils, and incorporating them into our production.
During laser cutting of openings, molten metal residues are formed on both the surface and on the internal walls. These processes remove these residues, reducing any defects that they may cause, especially on fine-pitch components.
